These are the trainings organized in cooperation with the R&D, Sales & Marketing, Production and Training Coordination Departments to promote our products to dealers and customers and to communicate information about the latest innovations and practices. Such trainings allow us not only to deliver technical presentations facilitating one-on-one communication with participants but also to share information about Life at Friterm and our projects.» Training on Introduction and Release of New Series Products to the Market
The training on the Promotion of New Series Products and Release into the Market held on 25 March 2015 at the Divan Hotel aimed to provide information to pariticpants about the Technical Qualifications, Applications, Benefits of New Series Condenser and Evaporators. In addition, there were also presentations made on Life and Projects in Friterm and Friterm on Social Media.
» Coils Training
The very first Coils Training was held on 22-23 September 2015 at the Divan Hotel Asia and Friterm. The presentations made to our OEM customers included air handling unit coils on identification, selection, use of software and considerations as well as considerations regarding design per coil types and heat recovery units through specific technical presentations. On the second day of the training, a technical trip was organized and there were also presentations made on Life and Projects in Friterm and Friterm on Social Media.

THE PRINCIPLES OF THE COOLING CYCLE (with animation) Training Date: 29 May 2014
In the first one of the energy efficiency web seminars, the focus was on the cooling cycle and the functions of its basic elements supported with animations based on the pressure-temperature relationship. The objective of the training was to ensure that the topics covered in other seminars of the series are understood better.
RETENTION OF THE CONDENSING PRESSURE IN CONDENSERS Training Date: 26 June 2014
One of the most important factors influencing the operating parameters in the cooling systems and thus energy efficiency is checking the condensing pressure in the condenser under any load and outer environment conditions. In this web seminar, the control methods for condensing pressure in both air and water cooling condensers were covered in this seminar.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY STUDY ON COOLING SYSTEMS Training Date: 25 September 2014
The first step in an energy study is to identify why we do this and what kind of results we would like to achieve. Anything other than that substantially depends on the answers to be given to these questions. In this web seminar, general information on the basic steps to be followed in performing the energy efficiency studies of the commercial and industrial cooling systems is provided. This seminar aims to provide guidance to engineers and technicians who are new to the site.
EFFICIENCY CLASSES IN CONDENSERS Training Date: 16 October 2014
Since air cooling condensers are one of the basic elements of cooling systems, development activities to increase their energy efficiency are carried out continuously, the standards meeting relevant national and international requirements are raised and the limitations with respect to their energy consumption are increased. This web seminar concentrates on the positive impact of high efficiency class condensers on operating costs and global warming with reference to condensing pressure. The purpose is to be beneficial for engineers and technicians working in this field.

FLUORINATED GASES REGULATIONS AND WHAT’S NEXT
Mr. Kadir Isa gave a training on the Fluoro Gases Regulations. There is ongoing work for harmonization with the European Union acqui and is expected to enter into force soon.
ORIENTATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES
These are the training programs organized for newly-hired personnel for their adaptation to and orientation within the company. The trainings are given either within the Friterm Academy or together with the appointed Orientation Coach in the department in cooperation with other relevant departments. In addition to the trainings taken, each and every employee is appointed a development project. A development project is assigned for each employee along with the provided trainings. Their progress within 0-2 months and 2-6 months are monitored through orientation trainings and development programs.» The 0-2 Months Orientation Training Program
It includes the standard trainings that new employees need to take within the department and from other relevant departments. The employee is given the opportunity to get familiar with Friterm and the company culture. The work flows and processes are completed with a development project. An evaluation meeting is made at the end of a 2-month period and the training period is evaluated.
» The 2-6 Months Orientation and Development Program
Following a 2-month orientation training, the 2-6 months orientation and development program aiming to ensure the development of in-house departmental competencies of an employee and his/her full adaptation into the company is implemented.. In addition to the trainings, a development plan is also prepared over a subject specified during the “2nd month” evaluation meeting. The 2-6 months process is completed with an evaluation meeting.
THE APPLIED TRAINING WORKSHOP TRAININGS
Trainings are given in the Applied Training Workshop located in the FB2 production area of our factory since 2013. The Assembly Trainings and Brazing Trainings are given in our Applied Trainings Workshop. These trainings are provided to our employees, interns and during technical visits if requested.» Assembly Training

TRAININGS ON THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECTS
» Trainings on our Social Responsibility Project for Street Animals in Organized Industrial ZonesThese are the trainings provided within the scope of our Corporate Social Responsibility Project called "“Corporate Social Responsibility Project for the Protection of Street Animals in Organized Industrial Zones – The Children of Our Streets). The trainings were given by the trainer Zeynep Alan Sevil Guven. Theme was chosen as "We Share Our Living Spaces with Love". The participants did various interactive activities on how we can live together with street animals and the balances one has to preserve while sharing lives. These trainings were open to all Friterm employees as well as any external participants willing to attend.
» Trainings on the Volunteer Internship Program for the Children of Our Streets Project
16 interns volunteered in 2015 for the CSR Volunteer Summer Internship Program that was initiated in 2013. The trainings were conducted for 8 eight weeks by the Project Coordinator Perihan Duruk. The following trainings were given as part of the Volunteer Work Program.
» INTRODUCTION TO THE CSR VOLUNTEER WORK PROGRAM
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Project for the Children of Our Streets was introduced by Perihan Duruk as part of the CSR Volunteer Work Program; and a short movie on the problems of street animals, ecological balance and environmental issues in Turkey was shown. Information was shared regarding the scope of the volunteer work program and various topics focusing on a specific theme were explained and volunteers were designated.
» FIELD VISIT
A field visit was organized to the project implementation areas with our volunteering interns within the scope of the Children of Our Street project. The IDOSB Nursing Home, the IDOSB feeding points, the Ballıca Forest feeding points and the MOSB Feeding points were visited. Thus, the interns received more detailed information by seeing the implementation sites.
» TRAINING SEMINARS IN THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING ETHICS
Within the scope of the CSR Volunteer Work Program, Prof. Seyhan Onbaşıoğlu conducted a seminar on Environmental and Engineering Ethics. The seminar included topics such as “What are the connections that engineers have to establish with the environment and the nature, What is ethics? What is morals? What are environmental ethics?” Prof. Onbaşıoğlu also answered the questions of the students at the end of the presentation and has made a valuable contribution to the program.
» TRAINING SEMINARS IN THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - ANIMAL RIGHTS AND VIOLATIONS OF ANIMAL RIGHTS
The second of the seminars that was organized as part of the volunteer internship program and project was the "Violations of Animal Rights in Turkey and in the World" seminar. Attorney Hülya Yalçın from the Istanbul Bar Animal Rights Commission and Burak Özgüner and Neşe Akbaş from the Animal Rights Monitoring Committee gave a seminar on “Animal Rights Violations in Turkey and the world”. The seminar covered not only the work done on the violation of human rights but also the mistakes done in implementation after relevant information on laws and regulations was given. The participants shared their experiences on Experimental Animals, Veganism and Nature Awareness about the Nature.
» TRAINING SEMINARS IN THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - ZOONOSES AND ZOONOSE DEFINITIONS
The third of the seminars organized as part of the volunteer work program of the Corporate Social Responsibility Project "Children of Our Street", was the "Zoonose Definition and Zoonose Diseases (Human to Animal, Animals to Human diseases)" given by the Veterinary Surgeon Aylin Tunc from the Vetline clinic.
» AWARENESS RAISING PROGRAMS IN THE SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The awareness raising trainings were given by the Training Coordinator Şirin Duruk as part of the summer internship program training seminars. Each and every session of the 3 trainings given focused on different themes. The first part of the session was dedicated to theoretical information on communication skills and the second part focused on interactive work.
The first training was on to what extent the interns associated themselves with their careers and how these had an impact on their future professional careers. The implementation part focused on how we can put ourselves in the shoes of another.
The group work in the second training focused on ethics. The relationship between ethics, life and money was discussed and experience was shared with participants by representatives.
Third training was group work focusing on mind, body, heart and soul relationship. The concepts of sense of separation, sense of unity, sense of wealth and deprivation were discussed. The closing activity focused on the relations interns establish with life.
At the end of the eight weeks of training, it was observed that there was a positive change in the communication and awareness of interns.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAININGS
» My Career and My Communication Skills- My Office and Me WorkshopThe Workshop on “My Career and My Communication Skills” is for all the employees who have not yet completed their 1st year in the company, who are still part of the orientation process and who would like to attend the training. The training aims to develop staff’s adaptation to their positions and increase their competencies in their career plans ans communication skills. The trainings are given by the Training Coordinator Ms. Şirin Duruk for groups of 15-20 people. Theoretical information on communication is reinforced by interactive work. In addition to the practical exercises on empathy and putting oneself in the shoes of another, group work focusing on the a specific theme is conducted in every training.
» Life in Friterm and My Communication Skills Training
Life in Friterm and My Communication Skills Training addresses blue-collar staff who have not yet completed their 1st year and aims at accelerating their adaptation to the life at Friterm and increasing their competencies in communication skills. The trainings are given by the Training Coordinator Sirin Duruk for groups of 15-20 people. Theoretical information on communication is reinforced by interactive work. In addition to the practical exercises on empathy and putting oneself in the shoes of another, group work focusing on the a specific theme is conducted in every training.
» Spiritual, Physical, Emotional and Mental Health and Healing Sessions
These sessions provide information to participants about how to preserve spiritual, mental, physical and emotional health and different techniques are used for healing purposes.
» Yoga and Dance Sessions
Yoga and dance sessions are on Mondays between 17:30-19:30 for all employees. The dance trainings given by a dance trainer not only creates an opportunity to support our physical health, but also helps increase our motivation for life.
» Club Trainings
The trainings required for those staff in social clubs working under the Social Activity commission are organized by Friterm Academy. These trainings include;
Photography Club: Basic and advanced photography courses are given to club members.
Table Tennis Club: Table Tennis club members have trainings twice a week.
Music Club: Turkish Classical Music Choir club members practice once a week.
Trainings could be planned also for other clubs if need be.
TECHNICAL VISITS
We organize technical visits to universities, high schools, industrial foundations & associations and our customers including our Production areas, R&D Test Labs, Production Technologies, Products, Software, Friterm Academy Works Corporate Social Responsibility Projects, Life in Friterm and Recruitment Processes of the company. Information is provided by expert trainers during technical visits.
