The FRİTERM A.S. R&D department seeks to achieve various goals to develop the most effective designs in terms of high performance, low cost and minimum environmental impact. In this context, current scientific and technical developments as well as local and foreign collaborations and consultancy services at the corporate level particularly on software and design are followed and incorporated into the R&D infrastructure.
The work by the FRİTERM A.S. R&D Department could be grouped under four main headings:
• Software Development
• Thermal Design, Thermoflow analysis and Certification
• Construction and Structural Analysis
• Lab Testing and Verification
The thermal design and the sizes of the products are determined thanks to the calculations made as part of the software . Following the completion of the constructive design, the prototype of the final version of the design is produced. The structural verifications as well performance verifications of the newly designed products are performed under the lab conditions compatible with the EN328 standard.
The company attaches great importance to collaboration between universities and the industry. For this reason, undergraduate, graduate and doctorate thesis topics are announced every year and the requests received from universities are assessed to contribute not only to the personal development of the student but also to the ongoing projects at FRITERM A.S. . The thesis advisor, student and the R&D Department collaborate for the completion of the theses. In addition, an exclusive internship program is prepared for many students who apply to the company every year to complete their internship so as to ensure that the interns get a versatile and a very efficient workplace experience at FRITERM A.S.
