Friterm attended the 8th International Symposium on Installation Technologies for Buildings that was organized by the Turkish Society of HVAC & Sanitary Engineers (TTMD) in Grand Cevahir Hotel and Congress Center between 12-14 May, 2008.

The eighth instance of the biannual “International Symposium on Installation Technologies for Buildings” was held in Istanbul on 12-14 May, 2008. This symposium was held with the support of the international organizations in which TTMD is a member, and the attendance of representatives from local and foreign universities and companies.

The symposium takes on a more international identity with each instance. The purpose of the biannual symposium is to facilitate discussion of scientific and technological advancements in the areas of Heating, Cooling, Air Conditioning and Sanitary Installations as well as creating a suitable platform for benefiting from the experiences of designers, applicators, researchers and entrepreneurs. Like Turley is a geographical and commercial bridge between the East and the West, so is the symposium a meeting point, a bridge in terms of construction technologies.
